Sorry for not posting more lately!  I’ve been busy, which is a good thing.  I also don’t have too many “naughty pictures” in my portfolio at the moment to post as the Picture of the Day, but I’ve been doing a lot of photoshoots lately and that’s going to change!  I did three portfolio shoots this past week and have several lined up for the rest of June and July.  Some photographers I’ve worked with have scouted amazing locations in the woods for some implied nudes.  I’m also shooting two calendars in the next couple of weeks that I’m really excited about.  I’ll let you know where to get one once they’re printed.

The Waiting Game

People often ask me what it’s like to be an actor, and the honest answer is that you spend a lot of time waiting.  You wait to hear if you got the part; you wait to hear if you got a callback; on set you wait in holding between scenes, you wait for camera adjustments between takes.

I had a fairly busy week-I filmed half of my scenes for the short film Hassel:Unleashed, did several auditions and a callback, did some portfolio shoots with photographers John Tyler and Thomas Lozinski, and taught 5 yoga classes.   And I’d bet that for every hour I was busy, I waited an additional hour.  We shot the scenes from the film in about 9 hours, but that same day I spent about 6 hours traveling. and much of the time waiting for scenes I was in.

I’m not complaining, either.  I like the downtime and always have a book with me.  But if you’re thinking about going into acting as a profession, consider yourself duly warned!
